One Day Event - Sunday August 24th, 2008 

The Events Committee for Tacoma Arts Community , a grass roots arts group, is putting on Glassroots Arts Festival to showcase regional arts, artists and artisans. We are proud to bring you the third annual GLASS ROOTS ARTS FESTIVAL for 2008 with a concept of YOUR vision of what art means in Tacoma. What is your Tacomanifesto? We want to hear your ideas and to present them to the community. We would like you to demonstrate your work as well give you the opportunity sell your works if you choose.  In addition, there will be an opportunity for the local youths in the community to showcase their art created at Tacoma Art Place who may not normally have the advantage to participate in such an event.
